Marie Lisa has scribbled on napkins, corners of books and on walls long before she learnt English. She once devised a code language that even she could not decipher. She started skipping before she started walking. Maybe that explains why her feet refuse to be planted at one place for a long time. She is a passionate person deeply in love with the road and words.
Lisa subscribes to the school of thought that every person sees the same things differently.Her blog, Places, Faces and the Journey in between was started in July 2010 to publish her view of the world around her. Around the same time she started her journey of travel writing with the Matador University. She has used the blog as a platform to publish her assignments, document her journeys to different parts of the world, doing a million different ( not necessarily sane) things, to write about her walk in the neighborhood, to muse at life in general and wonder about everything under the sun.
Mae West said ” You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” No offense Ms. West, right or wrong, Lisa will never say no to a second try.
